Flywheel generation
STEYR MOTORS integrated flywheel generator “IFG” is an efficient and compact electric power source using up-to-the minute technology. Continuous power of 14V 5kW provides sufficient energy for the many additional electrical loads possible on current applications. Further conversion to 220V AC is possible with the simple connection of
an additional inverter. The new system consists of a permanent magnet electric machine and the appropriate electronic controller.
